The other day he did calculus, four continuous hours of differential and integral problem solving and yet the thought of going or not going to the reunion prevailed everything he did, not only that day but also in the following days before the reunion. He took suggestions from his parents they denied by saying that , " First of all do something in your life, achieve the goals you have been preparing for become a good alumni and then go for the reunion. That will even make you feel good". His parent's were right but on the other hand his friend's asked him to go.
Friend's not like the one depicted in the globally acclaimed show "F.R.I.E.N.D.S." , his friends are more like hypocrites except for the two of them Ashish Mishra and Abhishek Rana. The trio of Raj, Ashish & Abhishek have been together for more than a decade. They share everything with each other. Raj asked them also for view both knew that it must be hard for him to go but he must go considering his affection towards Kanika but rested themselves by saying that its him to do whatever he wanted to. The same question for which he wanted an answer was again in front of him.
The night before the reunion most of the batch mates called just to confirm whether he is going to be present there or what he is gonna wear or if he can arrange some more passes as he was the Head boy of his batch, many of the so called friend were calling him he answered them all in a pleasant way and even arranged some passes for the needy ones. But as Kanika had said that she ain't gonna remind him of the event again she didn't. Not that she was busy shopping for reunion or contacting friends, she knew that somewhere deep down there Raj wasn't ready to face his friend's who were pursuing whatsoever they wanted, even those who weren't good at studies had at least something going around in there lives but Raj on the other hand took a chance of changing his fortune this year which so far has been tough for him.
Their group of friends which were all at the same level a year back now consisted of students of IIT,NIT,DTU,DU,AIIIMS & what not. Kanika knew the names of the institution are enough for him to fall back again and that he would go back to the phase he was in eight months earlier.
